Delivery Costs and Timelines
Delivery costs are as follows:
Order of R 750 and above – Free within the borders of South Africa using standard courier services, provided the total weight is below 10kg.
For orders below R 750 a R 100 (VAT inclusive) courier cost will be levied.
Courier delivery times are from 2 – 3 business days in the major metropolitan areas. Delivery timelines to outlying areas typically take 3 – 5 business days.
Courier delivery is door to door. If you are unsure if your area is serviced, please send us an email to info@furballpet.co.za and we will gladly confirm with our couriers.
Delivery Insurance is optional, but since the risk of loss or damage to products transfers to the customer when the products are delivered to the courier, it is recommended that you take advantage of this facility.
Indicative insurance charges are 2% of the value of your order, subject to a minimum of R57.00 (including VAT).
We comply with the Consumer Protection Act in this regard, however you should be aware of your rights and obligations. As all of our products are imported, and at times the shipping costs more than the product itself, we are not able to offer extended warranties.
You are entitled to receive a full refund within 10 business days after delivery if the goods purchased were found to be damaged or unsuitable for the indicated purpose (i.e. were not as advertised by FurBall, or were not suitable for the purpose you had explicitly communicated to FurBall and for which FurBall had explicitly advised you they would be suitable).
Your selection of an incorrect size would not be a valid reason for return under the Act, so you should take care to check and confirm measurements before ordering.
Goods and packaging should be returned in the same condition as they were received, and FurBall has the right under the Act to deduct from any refund the costs of rendering goods and/or packaging fit for re-stocking. It is important, therefore, that you do not damage packaging when inspecting goods.
FurBall may (upon request) consider returns under other circumstances, but with no obligation.
