1. Terms & Conditions that Apply
By transacting with Furball Pet Products CC (hereinafter, “we”, or “us”, or “our”), you agree that all transactions between you and us are subject to the terms and conditions contained on this website. We may, in our sole discretion, change such terms and conditions from time to time, without notice. However, any transaction between you and us will be subject to the terms and conditions that appeared on the website at the date of the transaction.
2.1 Our website does not constitute an offer to sell to you. Rather, your order constitutes an offer to buy from us. We only accept orders that are paid for in full.
2.2 We may cancel any order, even if we have already accepted it, if we are unable to source the product ordered. In such event we will refund your money, but will not be liable to any penalty, by virtue of having cancelled the order.
3.1 Delivery Charges are as follows:
3.1.1 Orders of R 650 and more qualifies for free shipping within South Africa, provided the total weight is below 15kg.
3.1.2 On orders below R 650 there is a R 85.00 courier charge, VAT inclusive.
3.1.3 Delivery charges are subject to amendment from time to time.
3.2 Delivery to you will occur by courier only. We deliver only to addresses in South Africa and Namibia.
3.3 Once your order is accepted and paid for in full, we will process your parcel for delivery within two (2) business days. Upon collection by the couriers, tracking details will be forwarded to you.
3.4 Delivery via courier door-to-door will take place only Monday to Friday, during office hours.
3.5 Delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Should a problem with delivery occur, we will do our utmost best to track your goods, and get it delivered to you as fast as possible. We will, however, not be liable for any loss, howsoever arising, that you may suffer arising from late deliveries for any reason whatsoever.
3.6 If the courier has attempted to deliver the parcel twice and has been unable to do so due to the delivery address being closed or vacant, you will be charged a re-delivery fee.
4.1 Delivery Insurance is optional, but since the risk of loss or damage to products transfers to the customer when the products are delivered to the courier, it is recommended that you take advantage of this facility.
4.2 Once your parcel is collected by the couriers, we will not be responsible for loss or damage in transit.
4.3 Indicative insurance charges are 2% of the value of your order (subject to a minimum of R57.50), including VAT.
5. Return of faulty products
5.1 The risk of loss of, or damage to any products passes to you when we deliver the products to the courier for delivery.
5.2 Subject to clauses 5.1 and 5.3, if a product is defective or becomes defective within a period of 7 days from the date on which we delivered the product to the courier for delivery, you may return the product, at your own cost and, at your option, we will either replace the product, or refund the purchase price of the product.
5.3 Clause 5.2 will not apply if you alter the product without our written consent, or if the defect results from abuse of the product or its use for purposes for which it was not intended, or its use contrary to its specifications for use, or if it is damaged during transit to you, after we delivered it to the courier.
5.4 When you return faulty products to us, please provide us with all the following information when returning the product:
5.4.1 Your Name, phone number and email address.
5.4.2 The date on which the product was ordered.
5.4.3 A short description of the fault.
5.4.4 The date on which you first become aware of the fault.
5.4.5 Please state whether you require either a replacement, or a refund.
5.5 Please return the faulty product to 393 Zita Street, Garsfontein, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa, 0060.
5.6 If you require a replacement product, we will process your parcel for delivery within two (2) business days from the date of receipt of the faulty product, accompanied by all the information requested in 5.4, provided that the product is still available and in stock. If it is no longer available or if we do not have stock, we will contact you either telephonically or by email to agree how to deal with the matter.
5.7 Upon collection by the couriers, tracking details will be forwarded to you. Delivery via courier door-to-door will take place only Monday to Friday, during office hours.
5.8 If you require a refund, we will make the refund within two (2) business days from the date of receipt of the faulty product, accompanied by all the information required per 5.4.
5.9 We will bear the cost of returning the products to you.
5.10 We will not refund delivery fees.
6. Return of Non-faulty Products
6.1 We will also accept the return of products even if they are not faulty, if you return it to us in the original, unopened and undamaged condition within 7 days from the date upon which the courier delivered the products to you. You will have to bear the cost of return.
6.2 We will exchange the returned product for another product of your choice or credit your Furball account with the amount of the product you returned, which credit you may use in the future to purchase other products. Of course, if the exchanged product or the product you purchase later is more expensive than the product you returned, you will have to pay the difference before we ship the exchanged or purchased product. You will also have to bear the cost of delivery of the exchanged or purchased product to you.
6.3 If the exchanged product or the product you purchase later is less expensive than the product you returned, we will credit your Furball account with the difference, which credit you may use in the future to purchase other products.
6.4 We regret that we do not refund the purchase price of non-faulty products that you return and will only exchange them for other products or credit your Furball account. We also do not refund or credit delivery costs.
