Cooling Vest/Swamp Cooler

When dogs are required to spend a long time in hot conditions they’re susceptible to over-heating, and in worse cases to death from heat stroke.

This is a cooling vest for hot conditions with maximum cooling through evaporation and heat reflection. The Ruffwear Swamp Cooler uses natural evaporative cooling to keep your dog cool. Soak it in cold water, wring it out, and fasten around your dog. Evaporative cooling exchanges the dog's heat as water evaporates from the coat's reservoir. The three-layer construction maximizes cooling effects: the wicking outer layer facilitates evaporation, an absorbent middle layer that stores water for evaporation and a comfortable inner layer that transfers the cooling effect to the dog.

The Swamp Cooler's light color is designed to reflect heat from the sun. Combined with the evaporative cooling effect, the Swamp Cooler keeps dogs comfortable when temperatures rise.

An active fit for full range of motion. Side-release buckles for easy on/off.

Made with low-light visibility material with reflective trim and light loop for attaching 'The Beacon' (TM).
